Doula services
What is a doula? A doula is here to offer continuous emotional and practical support to the mother and family, in all aspects of family life. Someone to offer help and advice with compassion and without judgement. That extra pair of hands to do whatever needs to be done.
Often doulas are mothers themselves and will be experienced in caring for babies and children, as well as in managing family life.
A doula can offer support in the following areas:
Prenatal support: including, birth preparation, getting organised for the arrival of baby, advice on all things pregnancy and baby, support with birth plan and more.
At the birth: acting as birthing partner at home or hospital, supporting mother through their birth experience, whatever path it takes.
Postnatal support: including, caring for mother and baby in any way required, helping to organise the home, helping to manage family life, advice on family routines, massage and relaxation sessions and more.
Do you sometimes feel stressed and overwhelmed with family life? Do you feel anxious or isolated? Do you sometimes wish you could spend more quality time with your children or other members of your family? Is sleep deprivation affecting your daily life? A doula can help you with all this.
All Good Things is currently offering a postnatal doula service.
